Yesterday during lunch my downtown wanderings took me to the place where the plastic buffaloes roam. There were created several years ago during a contest sponsored by various businesses in the area.
My wife, four friends and I went to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art today and dined at the Museum Cafe. We had a leisurely lunch and then went to the exhibition of Roman art on display from the Louvre. The collection was wonderful and a great time was had by all. We were there from noon until 3:30 PM and I wish we could have spent more time. I will probably never travel to Europe but this was almost like bringing some of the great ancient art of the Roman Empire to Oklahoma. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in art or history. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
